Depth of Field
I took this photo in downtown Portland looking through a wire fence at blue bike holders.
I took this photo at Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream Shop. It was one of the cones on display and I liked the pop of colors from the sprinkles on the chocolate.
This photo was taken outside of a store. They were selling these broken pieces for making mosaics. The different colors and patters caught my eye.

Motion
Slow Motion
I took this photo in my backyard. I set my camera on a tripod and took a picture of the flowing water from my pond.
Effective Camera Shake
I took this photo in my backyard. It is a close-up of a flower that I intentionally shook the camera while it was taking the photo.
Effective Camera Shake
This is a photo of a painting in my house. While the shutter was open I zoomed out the lens.
Total Motion
This is a photo of my dog running in my backyard. She was chasing after a ball.
Freeze Action
This is a photo of the water splashing from my pond. It was nighttime.
Panning
This is a photo that I took at a fountain. I panned the camera as the water was falling down.

Daguerreotype and Tilt-Shift
Daguerreotype
This photo is a Daguerreotype. Daguerreotype was the first commercially successful photographic process. It was invented around 1837. Part of the process was transferring the photo to a metal plate. I tried to recreate this process by adding concrete textures over the photo to add some roughness.
Tilt-Shift
This is a tilt-shift photo. It was taken in downtown Portland, OR. I took it from the top of a parking garage.
Daguerreotype
This is another Daguerreotype photo that I took. I took it again from the top of a parking garage looking across at this old building.

Multiple Image Techniques
Panorama
I took these photos at Mellow Mushroom Restaurant. I really liked the paintings on the exterior of the building.
Multiple Exposure
These photos that are blended together are of the same bridge from different perspectives. This bridge is in Portland, OR.
Multiple Exposure
This photo is of a red stop walk-light and trees up in Washington Park that I blended together.
